Rock Creek Bethesda and Rock Creek at Mazza are distinctly unique: each offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy meals prepared with local, sustainable, fresh and organic products, meals which are, at the same time, nutritionally-conscious as well as delicious. Each kitchen is led by a renowned chef dedicated to the concept of “mindful dining,” and the restaurants are bound by the common concept, but each chef is given full rein to create his own beautiful and tasteful menu comprised of the best of our “conscious cuisine.” At Rock Creek Bethesda, opened in March 2005, Chef Fred Pryzberowski delights his guests with his award winning Rock Creek Crab Cakes, slow cooked salmon, pacu ribs, filet mignon, veal tenderloin, and other delicacies of the season. With 90 seats, Rock Creek Bethesda is your quintessential neighborhood restaurant, where friends come to dine, see other friends, and enjoy the ambiance of a quiet setting where the mood says, “ahh,” as you settle in to relax and dine in a friendly yet beautiful environment. Rock Creek at Mazza, which celebrated its first anniversary on July 12, 2008, is an upscale dining environment. The dining room, which seats 120 guests, is defined by a 25 foot oak tree in its center, which creates the feeling of dining al fresco. In our Wine Bar and Club room things are more casual, with an easy bar menu and jazz on Thursday evenings. With over 40 pours by the glass, the Wine Bar is a fun place to pop in before or after a movie at the AMC Theatre next door.
